Azadeh Shahryarinejad, LMSW, LMFT
My name is Azadeh Shahryarinejad and I’m a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). My area of practice includes working with individuals and couples. My goal is to help my clients on their journey of identifying and unlocking their full potential, enhancing their life satisfaction, and living their best self. Often times the challenges that are embedded in our lives can make us feel hopeless about the future. With all of life’s impasses, I am here to help you.
I believe that all individuals are unique with diverse talents, abilities, and life experiences. These characteristics are the tools that are most helpful in rewriting your story to create the narrative that you have envisioned for your best self.
Professional Bio
I completed my Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from University of Rochester, School of Medicine and Dentistry and my Masters in Social Work from University at Buffalo.
I have extensive experience in the field of mental health using person-centered strength based approach. I empower and encourage my clients to take charge of their life. I use a variety of therapeutic models and tailor my work to fit the uniqueness of each individual or couple.
My professional areas of interest is in treating depression, anxiety, relationships, communication, conflict resolution, grief and bereavement. I also have a special interest in women’s issues including self-esteem and creating healthy relationships.
